Greenhouse Addition

A timber frame greenhouse out of hemlock

Sunroom Addition

This is an open concept white pine timber frame addition. The open timber structure allows for multiple windows on all sides, as well as large skylights in the roof.  As with all timber frames, simple stick built walls can be built to suit any window configurations or roof styles.  This allows for many custom options.

Loft in a Log Home

The clients needed more space in their home.  This L-shaped custom timber frame loft made use of a portion of their great room space, eventually becoming a nursery for the clients.  The frame is made of white pine with walnut braces.

Pavilion on Cowan Pond

Built on a small pond, this hemlock timber frame doubles as a dock and a pavilion.  This same frame could be used for many other purposes.  This was initially built for a wedding ceremony. It could be closed in to be used as a river-side retreat, a hunting camp, guest sleeping quarters, a small workshop, or garden shed.  If left open, it would also work well as a carport.  This footprint measures 16' by 16'.  However, this same frame is available in other footprints.
